Course tile:                      Connect with the Quran

Course duration:              35 weeks

Time:                                Sundays 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Start date:                        Sunday, 6 June 2021

Location:                         IFT Center. 191 Khayaban e Shaheen, Phase VIII, DHA.

Each two-hour session will have three periods: 1) Quranic Message 2) Quranic Grammar and 3) Tajweed. It is recommended that you attend all three periods; however, you can choose to attend just one or two periods.

The Quranic Message period will be from 3:00 – 3:45 PM.  Here we will cover the main messages from each Juz. For example, in the first class we will discuss the main messages from Juz Alif Laam Meem. In the second class we will address Juz Sayaqool, and so on.  This way we will cover the entire Quran in roughly 30 weeks.  To make the most of each session participants should read the relevant Juz with meaning before coming to class.

The Arabic Grammar period will be from 3:45 to 4:30 PM.  In this period, you will learn Quranic Arabic in a very simple and intuitive manner. Our initial focus will be on vocabulary and grammar which is commonly used. Hence, our plan is to cover 50% of Quranic words in the first 12 weeks. This course is based on the book: Understand Al Quran the Easy Way by Dr. Abdulazeez Abdulraheem

The Tajweed period will be from 4:30 to 5:00 PM.  In this period you will learn how to recite the Quran in a proper manner.

Our larger purpose is to develop a closer connection with the Quran so we can live our lives based on its teachings.  May Allah accept our efforts.
